The ESMERA workshop „EU Robotics Applications: From Scattered to Networked“ at ICT 2018 in Vienna turned out to be an interactive session strongly involving the audience in the workshop´s discussion about benefits, needs and experiences in being part of a EU Robotics network.
With its goal of gaining valuable insights from potential Open Call attendees and potential members of Europen robotics networks, the workshop used an online tool to include live polls among the audience to get their ideas and input on working and applying for European projects.
Thereby, a valuable discussion could evolve around what EU Robotics networks can offer, how they attracht and, on the other hand, what they lack. Five experts in the workshop´s expert panel supported the conversation by sharing their ideas, thoughts and experiences. The panel consisted of: Dr. Sotiris Makris (LMS), Dr. Christophe Leroux (CEA), Krzysztof Lipiec (PIAP), Sarah Terreri (PAL Robotics) and Krzysztof Walas (Poznan University). Dr. George Michalos (LMS) moderated the panel.
By using the online poll tool, the workshop gained these ICT Vienna Live Poll_Results
The ESMERA consortium thanks the expert panel for sharing their experiences and thanks the audience for having participated and given this honest and valuable feedback.
